9th-12th Grade College Readiness Cohort
The F.O.R.G.E. Pathways Cohort Model is a long-term virtual student development and transition support program designed to guide students through high school while preparing them for life after graduation. Unlike traditional tutoring or short-term college coaching programs, the cohort model focuses on the overall growth and development of students by combining structured guidance, accountability, leadership development, mentorship, pathway exploration, and family support into one comprehensive experience.
The program recognizes that students need more than academic information to succeed. Many students struggle with organization, confidence, communication, planning, motivation, and understanding what pathway is best for them. F.O.R.G.E. Pathways was created to help address those challenges by providing students with ongoing support systems that help them build structure, direction, and real-world readiness over time.
Students are grouped into grade-level cohorts that are intentionally designed around the developmental and transition needs associated with each stage of high school. Each cohort focuses on helping students strengthen important life and leadership skills while also preparing them for future educational, workforce, or career opportunities.
The cohort experience includes:
Live virtual sessions
Leadership development
Mentorship opportunities
Accountability check-ins
Pathway planning meetings
Information clinics for parents
Regularly scheduled workshops
Communication skill development
Transition readiness support
Students are encouraged to actively explore their strengths, interests, goals, and future possibilities while developing healthy habits, organization systems, professionalism, confidence, and independence.
F.O.R.G.E. Pathways also recognizes that success is not one-size-fits-all. While some students may pursue traditional college pathways, others may explore workforce careers, trades, entrepreneurship, certifications, creative careers, or alternative pathways. The cohort model is designed to support students across multiple future pathways while helping them make intentional and informed decisions about their future.
Families are considered an important part of the student success process. Parents receive ongoing communication, educational resources, webinars, and guidance to help support students through major educational and life transitions.
Because the model is fully virtual, students nationwide can access structured support, mentorship, leadership development, and pathway guidance regardless of location. The overall goal of the cohort experience is to help students confidently build what comes next in their lives through long-term guidance, accountability, leadership, and intentional growth.
